Our focus is to listen closely to your thoughts and visions and use our knowledge of flowers to create the flowers for your wedding.

We are frequently asked how soon you need to make an appointment. The answer is: when you are ready. We recommend finalizing all your plans three months in advance to help your peace of mind. We order your flowers approximately 4 weeks before your wedding and they will arrive fresh, mid-week before your wedding day.

We suggest you meet with your caterer or function coordinator, cake designer, ceremony site (to find out about any rules and regulations), and, of course, have chosen your gown before meeting with us. It is helpful to have fabric swatches, venue contact information, special delivery requirements and any photographs you have gathered with you.

Consultations are by appointment, with after hours and weekends available upon request. Consultation is at no charge or obligation. Appointments usually require 45 to 90 minutes. At the end of the appointment (unless there are several open issues), you will be given an itemized estimate. If you choose Cottage Grove Florist as the florist for your wedding, we require a deposit of $100 to reserve and secure your date. You will also be given a copy of our Wedding Contract which details when payment is due and cancelation policy. The global distribution of flowers and new growing techniques allow for increased availability of traditionally seasonal flowers throughout the year. This means that most flowers are now available year round.
